It's sad that the Bush administration is on the way out... I could have made a fortune selling our current commander in chief talismans to keep anything from polar bears to bees away.
After all, the man needs to find SOMETHING to blame the disappearance of both species on... and if it's not going to be global warming or cellular networks, it might as well be my scientific black magic.
Dude he's still got three months left: get to it! They need something to keep the predators off the lame duck...
